Doc en Carol McCoy zijn gespecialiseerd in het plegen van bankovervallen. Als Doc door een valstrik in een smerige Mexicaanse gevangenis terecht komt, moet Carol de hulp inroepen van gangsterbaas Jack Benyon om hem weer vrij te krijgen. In ruil voor zijn hulp moeten Carol en Doc een grote overval voor Benyon plegen. Wanneer de overval eindigt in een schietpartij met dodelijke slachtoffers, en zij tijdens hun vlucht ternauwernood aan allerlei hinderlagen weten te ontsnappen, lijkt alles erop dat de twee door iemand verraden zijn.
