Jim is opgegroeid op z'n vaders boerderij in de Australische bergen. Na zijn vaders dood moet hij wel afdalen om geld te verdienen zodat het boerenbedrijf in stand kan worden gehouden. Dan valt zijn oog op de mooie Jessica, maar haar vader ziet niks in deze boerenknul. Daar komt nog bij dat Jim beschuldigd wordt van het laten gaan van een aantal paarden, waaronder een waardevolle hengst. Om zijn onschuld te bewijzen en zijn respect terug te winnen, gaat hij erop uit om de paarden terug te brengen naar hun eigenaar.
